Is there a way to get cheap car insurance at 16?
You could pay as low as $25 a month for car insurance
So I’m 16 and Ive had my restricted for over a year now but me nor my parents can afford a car or insurance right now. So i was thinking if i drove my moms car is there a way to get insurance cheap. Can i stay under my moms insurance? Is there a way to lie to the insurance company so that i can get it at an adult cost or at a cheaper cost? Anything? Thank you.

Don’t know where you live, but where I come from, when a driver is added to an insurance policy, the first thing you need to do is give them your driver’s license number. They run a driving record report, and you’re busted. You drive your mom’s car without paying a teen rate for coverage and have an accident, and she’s busted. The company will probably cancel her coverage. So basically, no…your parents will have to pay for teen coverage. I suggest a bicycle.

you lie, you get no insurance coverage in an accident. your parents get sued, and you/they regret this attempt at cheating on insurance for years.
