Hello. Im 18 years old and im looking to buy car insurance for a Vauxhall Corsa 1.2 sxi 60 plate costing about £8000. I passed my test last year April 2010 and have not driven any car so i have no NCB. Where can i get cheap car insurance for around £1000-£1500?

I’m not 18 sadly, but on the positive side this does improve my insurance premium.
If they asked me for £1000 to insure a £8000 car I’d become a public transport user.
Someone mentioned a scheme called Young Marmalade for young drivers on here yesterday. I had a quick look and it looks like something that can help get lower insurance premiums for young drivers. But you’ll have to look at it closer to see if it suits your needs.

There is no such thing as cheap insurance and there is no such place that sells cheap insurance. There is only one way to buy insurance. call for quotes, then choose the best quote for you and for your particular circumstances.

You can do some research on the top companies, but the main question is what kind of auto insurance are you looking for?
Are you looking for full coverage? which will cover everything from you hitting another car, motorist.,.. property or someone hitting you.

you might want to speak with your agent, it might be better to put his on his own to keep your down. It depends on his age, record, the car, ect..the fact that he is young, might cost..you usually get a better rate with the company that you have been with the longest.
